Workshop - Makeup for the Male Actor, Saturday March 13th
Attention guys... this one’s for you!
So you love acting - but don't know where to start when it comes to stage makeup? Don’t know your highlights from your contours? Your paint sticks from your waterproofers? And what is that sponge for, anyways?
If you’ve ever been at least a little confused about any of the above, worry no more! In CADA’s three-hour practical workshop, Makeup for the Male Actor, you’ll be taught by a professional makeup artist, and you’ll come away equipped to do your own make up for your next performance. You’ll learn about:
- Male skincare—what you need to know about your skin type and how to keep it in good condition
- Choosing and applying makeup for stage and screen
- The effect of lighting on makeup and colour
- Basic character makeup—how to make yourself look older, how to emphasize your features for effect.
PLUS if you enrol by March 10, a free male makeup starter kit is included with the course!
