Department of Human Services Photoshoot

We have just been awarded a rather large assignment (need to find 150 people!) for the Department of Human Services

The brief is to shoot a variety of people, 18 – 45 years of age, male and female, with differing looks and abilities, ethnic backgrounds and appearances, portraying the daily activities as they occur at the Tuggeranong offices of Department of Human Services (DHS).

We will mock up meetings, briefings, chat scenarios and other likely scenarios within a few specific spots, within a few specific DHS buildings. It is envisaged that ‘your people’ would turn up, sign a talent contract, placed into a shot – and be shot and then leave.

The talent contract allows the DHS to use the image within their printed material, online and other collateral to advise, promote and or explain their services, offerings and or programs, the contract is in perpetuity as is standard with government copyright requirements.

The time expected to be invested by each person is approx. 1.5 hours each – from the time you sign in at the Tuggeranong location. The pay will be $150.00 for each and every person that turns up at the allocated time, signs their contract and completes their part of the shoot.

Dates for the shoot are yet to be confirmed although I anticipate we will be shooting one section of the requirements during the week, a larger chunk of shots to be shot on two selected weekends. Our deadline for all shots to be completed is 14TH JUNE 2012.

I envisage at this time that we will need to shoot on the following days:

Weekend 2 & 3 June

Weekdays 5 & 6 June

Long Weekend 9 & 10 & 11

Please let us know (cam@seventyeight.com.au or our producer at creative@wintersfarm.co) your date and time of your availability and we will get a call sheet out to you in the coming week or so.

THE COURT OF SWING CARACTACUS

Tuggeranong Arts Centre Theatre15-26 May | 8.15PM
$35 | $30 Concession
BOOKINGS 62931443 | Call the centre for a Dining and Show option

It’s Sydney, 1938.

“Now gather around you wimmen, grab your partner by the ear
And drag ‘em to this story that I think you ought to hear
A tale so unbelievable, so cockadoodledoo
You’d pass it off as fiction if indeed it was true “

“The story of Caractacus is about the kind of bloke you’d ever sees. He’s better known as swing although his name is Harry E”. (Andrew Hackwill)

Seven singers, a big band and the Jumptown Dancers combine to make the second production from Mad Ferret a show to remember! With its larrikin, cheeky political incorrect Australian ballads – that will remind you of C.J.Dennis -, The Court of Swing Caractacus comes straight from the pen of Andrew Hackwill (script and music), bringing the Swing period back to life!
